University Jewish Chaplaincy offers Jewish students access to a regional Jewish Chaplain wherever you are studying in the UK. Whether you’re looking to hang out at events with other Jewish students, need help addressing an antisemitic incident, a listening ear for a personal issue or just crave a home-cooked Shabbat meal, our Chaplains would love to hear from you.

They strive tirelessly to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where everyone, regardless of their background or affiliation, feels comfortable getting involved.

About Our Chaplains

Our Chaplains are typically situated where there are larger groups of Jewish students and make scheduled visits to students in areas where they are less concentrated. They enable Jewish life to be sustained across the country through a range of religious and pastoral services. All UJC Chaplains receive safeguarding and mental health first aid training and are able to support students with a range of wellbeing services; to read more about this important work, click here.
